Yes. Efteling is open all year round. In the winter months De Efteling does organize the 'Winter Efteling' event, in which the park is completely transformed into a fairy-tale Winter Wonderland with ice rinks, Christmas lighting and winter attractions. The 'Winter Efteling' event usually takes place from mid-November to the end of January. It is therefore always advisable to consult the official website of the Efteling for the current opening hours and data of events, so that you know for sure when the park is open and when you can best plan your visit.
Can you park for free at Efteling?
No, parking at Efteling is not free. There are various parking spaces around the park where you can park for a fee. You can choose from a regular parking rate or a premium parking rate, where you can park closer to the park. It is advisable to buy a parking ticket online in advance, so that you are sure of a parking space and are also cheaper. In addition, there are shuttle buses available during busy days that take you from the parking space to the entrance to the park.

25% discount on a stay in Efteling
Book a stay before September 23, 2024 and you get a 25% discount on your booking. Also valid in the fall and spring break! The promotion is unfortunately not valid during the Christmas holidays.
Efteling tickets for 5 euros each
At the Sligro they now have a savings campaign. With a full savings card of 20 stamps, you get 2 tickets for € 10. The promotion runs from 12 to 30 September 2024 and is only for Sligro customers.
Discount for Essent customers
As an Essent customer you can go to Efteling on 7 or 8 December for € 25.50. That is more than 40% discount on the normal price. The parking ticket is also free of charge. Essent customers can buy a maximum of 6 tickets.
Danse Macabre finally open
On October 31 it was time: the successor to the ghost lock in the Efteling opened and visitors knew that too. It was extremely busy with a queue that sustained up to 4 hours and just before closing time there was a row that had to wait 1.5 hours. In the near future it will be busy with the attraction that received many positive reviews.

The New Year's Eve celebration at the Efteling for this year is unfortunately sold out. The expensive cards (56 euros per person) were sold like sweet rolls. It is not surprising because the event is sold out every year.
