Bodyworlds

Discounted visit to BodyWorlds

BodyWorlds now has 14 sites in Europe and America, and in addition to the variant with people, there are also two sites where you can see animals. The wondrous world of BodyWorlds is definitely worth a visit, but what exactly does a visit cost? And can discounts be found on tickets?

What does Bodyworlds cost at the door?

This varies a bit by branches, but going by the Amsterdam branch, we see tickets for adults for € 24.95 and tickets for children aged 6 to 17 for € 13.50. Children aged 5 or under get in for free. As many of the Bodyworlds sites are located in the centre of a big city, you can add another tenner parking fee for convenience and that brings you to just about € 90,- for a day at Bodyworlds with a family of 4.

Discounts at major international ticket sites

Please note: in the examples below, we assume Bodyworlds Amsterdam. For the other Bodyworlds locations, check here.

Luckily, tickets are almost always on sale at sites like Groupon, Social Deal and Tiqets. With a bit of luck, you can save 40% on an adult ticket there. Note that there are also a lot of big sites like GetYourGuide and Klook that just charge the box office price. With those sites, it only gets interesting when there is an active promotional code.

With a subscription or loyalty points

In the Netherlands, you can be a member of the ANWB or Postcode Lottery. With such a membership, you get a nice discount throughout the year. If the deals on the discount sites are not there and you are still a member, you can also look there. And also specific to the Netherlands: the supermarkets' savings programmes. At Jumbo, for instance, you can save 40% discount just like that. Unfortunately, these programmes are not available outside the Netherlands.
