About Musée du Luxembourg
The Musée du Luxembourg, located next to the Jardin du Luxembourg, was the first museum for contemporary art of Paris. But even before it exhibited modern works in 1818, the museum - then housed in the eastern wing of the Luxembourg palace - had been exhibited artworks since 1750. Now located in the former orangery of the palace, guests can enjoy regularly changing exhibitions.
